ENTRIES are now open for two charity golf days in June and July at the Ashbury Golf Hotel. The events are organised by the Rotary Club of Okehampton, and raises money for charitable causes locally, such as Okehampton Foodbank, and other causes on a wider basis. More than £70,000 has been raised through the golf days. Following the success of last year's event, the format on both days will be a shotgun start. The entry fee is £55 per pair, to include green fees, use of buggies, lunch and a prize giving buffet. Play will be in fours, but the competition will be for pairs. Entries for one, two, three or four players — or more — are available for either or both days. The events take place at the Kigbeare Course on Wednesday, June 11 and Wednesday, July 16 on the Beeches Course. For details and an entry form, e-mail [email protected]">[email protected]
