A PACKED Yelverton Church hall was treated to a fascinating talk on forestry by Nick Smith, a retired forester who has spent over 40 years working for the Forestry Commission.

The event was arranged by the Yelverton NSPCC fundraising committee, included a cream tea and raised £945 for the NSPCC.

Sonja Cheadle, Chair of the Fundraising Committee, would like to thank her wonderful committee and all those who attended for making the day so enjoyable.
