OKEHAMPTON Argyle were without a match in the South West Peninsula League last Saturday, but the Second XI continued their excellent form with a hard working 3-1 home victory over a spirited Thorverton Seconds. 

After falling behind to an early goal, Argyle came back to take the three points with two well-taken goals from Robbie Sandercock and a header from Rickie Wooldridge.  This result sees the Seconds lying at the top of the Devon and Exeter senior division five and still undefeated in the league.

The Argyle Third team were involved in an exciting Geary Cup tie agaist previously undefeated Dawlish United Seconds.  After falling two goals behind in the first 10 minutes, they showed tremendous character to pull back to 2-2 at full time, and then took the game to their opponents in extra time, continuously creating opportunities and running out well deserved 6 -3 winners.
