The annual Okehampton PTFA Fireworks Night celebrations will this year be held on the football field in Simmons Park.

The event will take place on November 5 and the field will open at 4pm with the fireworks starting at 5:30pm.

Organisers have asked that no sparklers or fireworks be let off except for those provided by them and have remided parents that they are responsible for their own children.

There will also be hot food, hot drinks and ice cream available.
