ALL schools with the Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust will be closed tomorrow because of adverse weather conditions including Okehampton and Tavistock Colleges:

A spokesperson for the Trust said: ’Due to the potential impact of Storm Eunice, and in line with the Red Weather Warning advice issued by the Met Office, we have taken the precautionary decision to close all our schools tomorrow.

’This decision has been taken to ensure the safety of our staff, students, and wider community, and to minimise local travel in the area. Though we appreciate this may cause some disruption for parents, remote learning will be in place for students, meaning their education is not impacted by the adverse weather conditions."

The schools that will be closed are:

Holsworthy Community College

Okehampton College

Chagford C of E Primary School

South Tawton Primary School

North Tawton Primary School

St James C of E Primary School

Okehampton Primary School

Highampton Primary School

Northlew and Ashbury Primary School
