SOUTH and West Devon School Sport Partnership took 35 year 5 and 6 primary school children to this years Quad Kids' County Final held at North Devon Athletics track in Braunton.

For the Quad Kids event children have to sprint 75m, throw a vortex howler, do a standing long jump and run 600m .

The children competed at their Learning Community events and from these results the children with the highest scores were selected to compete for School Sport Partnership teams. Among the 11 teams taking part were children from Lamerton, Meavy, Okehampton, South Tawton, Stowford and Whitchurch.

Among the West Devon winners were best girl, Nya from South Tawton;

Best team – Alligators team (which included Katy from Meavy; Kieron from Okehampton, Nya from South Tawton and Charlie from Stowford.

Best School Sport Partnership congratulate all of our athletes who all performed exceptionally.
