The public footpath across Lopwell Dam will be closed until Thursday, February 6 to repair dislodged stones on the causeway.

The footpath which takes walkers over the dam and onto the Bere peninsula has been closed since last Friday, January 17 with the repairs expected to take three weeks.

A Tamar Valley National Landscape spokesperson said: “The situation will be assessed shortly and it is hoped that the missing section will be repaired as soon as possible. No persons shall proceed on the unclassified road except for access to land or premises on or adjacent to that length of way.”
