BRIDESTOWE Primary School sports day was held recently.
The morning was grey and drizzly, but this didn’t dampen any spirits as parents shared a picnic on the field with their children before the events started at 12.45pm. Soon after, the sun brightened proceedings and the children increased their sporting efforts, with everyone showing huge dedication and determination alongside great team spirit.
Even the mums and dads displayed their skills in skipping and bean bag races, with some even resorting to bending the rules! The overall team winners were Typhoons, but all the children deserved praise for their sporting character and positive encouragement towards each other.
