A CREATIVE day was spent by all at the prep school at Shebbear College when the children fashioned a whole town out of Lego.
The large assembly hall was awash with thousands of pieces of Lego as the children from the school, joined by others from St Petroc’s School in Bude, enthusiastically worked on their creations.
During the workshop they were tasked with building a Lego town and set about constructing their own individual ideas, making buildings, houses, farms, forests and boats.
Some creations were lit up with bulbs and trains moved along their tracks using battery connections.
The result was very creative and impressive.
The day was one of a number of hands-on science and technology workshops run outside lessons at the school, to encourage teamwork, logical thinking, creativity and practical design.
