MOST of us are completely in the mood for Christmas this deep into December — but children from Okehampton Primary School were presented with prizes for a Halloween competition last week.

The prizes were presented from members of the Co-op — who have been working hard to build links with the local community.

Martin Ford, of the Co-op Food Group, said: ‘The Halloween colouring competition is just one of the ways we are able to give something back to the pupils of the school. 

‘After a fantastic response we were able to reward every child that entered the competition, not just the winners.

‘The response rate was excellent and I am hoping we can do something similar at Easter.’
