FIREFIGHTERS put out a car fire on the A30 near Okehampton on Sunday, May 26.
The fire service was called to the scene just after 10.30am.
When crews from Okehampton and Chagford arrived, they found the car “well alight” on a grass verge.
They extinguished the fire, but the car was destroyed.
The fire is believed to have started accidentally.
