Northlew Amateur Dramatic Society (NADS) has kept its focus during development of its latest production — despite the title suggesting otherwise.
The group is hard at work preparing for 'Out of Focus', a farce written by Peter Gordon and being directed by Enid Maguire.
The play is based on a village hall when the bookings secretary gets things a little confused, with a meeting of the Brownies, a panto rehearsal and badminton players all turning up — chaos ensues.
Martin Perry, a member of NADS said: 'If the audience enjoy it all just half as much as we have rehearsing it then it will be a surefire hit. Our main problem in rehearsals has been getting through a scene with a straight face.'
Performances are on June 28 and June 29 in the Victory Hall. Tickets are on sale at £5 each from Elmfield, 01409 221376.
