New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Torridge’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The Farmers Arms, at Woolsery, Bideford, Devon was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 27.

And The Royal Hotel, at Royal Hotel, Bude Street, Appledore, Bideford was also given a score of four on March 27.

It means that of Torridge's 90 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 75 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
