SOUTH West Lakes Trust was joined by more than 1,400 people at a very sunny Roadford Lake for a full day of festivities, both on and off the water.
The event aimed to highlight the Trust’s environmental, educational and recreational themes.
Visitors tried activities including sailing, kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding, water zorbing, windsurfing, high ropes, archery, forest fun and fishing casting taster sessions.
South West Water’s tours of the dam also proved popular and those who completed the 170-step climb to the top of the valve tower received a certificate.
Exhibitors were kept busy with a steady stream of visitors and there was a chance to meet therapy ponies from Collytown and some owls from Screech Owl Sanctuary.
Sailing trips throughout the day took people of all abilities around the lake for some rare views from the water.
The Roadford Fly Dressers Guild gave fly-tying demonstrations and visitors could also explore Roadford by bike, with hire provided by Rockin Bikes.
Little ones could enjoy face painting, a bouncy castle, soft play, a ball pool and giant games.
Music was provided by Ashwater Community Steel Band.
