GARDENS are open at Dousland and Milton Abbot this weekend to raise funds for charity.
Eight gardens are open at Dousland to help St Peter's Church, Meavy and St Luke's Hospice.
The gardens are open from 11am to 4pm on Saturday (May 21) and from 2pm to 5pm the following day. Combined entry is £3, children free.
Coffee, ploughman's lunches and teas on Saturday and teas on Sunday will be available.
Parking is available at Moorholme, Sparkatown Lane, off Lake Lane.
Entry tickets are on sale at Littlewood and Moorholme. The event will be signposted.
The gardens of Hotel Endsleigh will open to the public in aid of the RNLI on Sunday (May 22).
Designed by Repton at the turn of the 19th Century, the gardens include a mature arboretum, the longest border in England, a picturesque dell, streams, waterfalls and rock gardens.
They will be open for self guided tours from 11am to 4pm with a guided walk at 11am.
Unfortunately the garden is not suitable for wheelchair users as there are steps to all walks.
Lunches and afternoon teas are available and the Tavistock branch of the RNLI will be in attendance to sell souvenirs and light refreshments.
Entry is £5 for adults, £3 for OAPs and free to children under 16 accompanied by an adult.
