New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Torridge’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Freaki Tiki, a pub, bar or nightclub at 32 Nelson Road, Westward Ho!, Bideford, Devon was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on February 6.

And Pizza Palace, a takeaway at 12 South Street, Torrington, Devon was also given a score of five on February 5.
