A CROSS country competition organised by Boasley Cross Primary School recently saw children from different schools across the area competing and having fun.
Six teams took part in the competition from Lydford, Pyworthy, Exbourne, Bridestowe, Northlew and Boasley Cross.
Despite the rain on the day, the children had a great time running the one and a half mile course over uneven ground.
Angus, a pupil at Boasley Cross, said: 'It was a bit boggy, but it was a brilliant feeling once I had crossed the finish line.'
The winning team with the lowest points was Pyworthy with 86 points, with Bridestowe in second place with 95, and Boasley Cross in third place with 101.
All teams received a medal and certificate for taking part.
Boasley Cross Primary School staff expressed thanks to everyone who took part and helped make the event possible.
