PEOPLE are being urged to continue to support Hatherleigh Market by buying their essentials there on Tuesday mornings during lockdown.
While the auction has had to close temporarily, stallholders will still be selling, local bread, meat, cheese, eggs, vegetables, cakes and pasties as well as nuts and pulses, garden and pet accessories from 9am to 12 noon next Tuesday.
It was a case of ‘use it or lose it’ said organiser Debbie Kimber.
‘The stallholders will keep coming if you give them the encouragement and support they deserve,’ she said.
