ANYONE wishing to draw on their artistic skills or expand their knowledge is invited to join a special watercolour workshop, being held at Broadwoodkelly next month.

For the weekend of April 17 and 18, the village hall will be providing the venue for a watercolour workshop led by talented artist Peter Woolley.

Suitable for all levels of skill, including those with no previous drawing and painting experience, this course will also have plenty to offer those looking to extend their artistic skills in this interesting medium.

Peter will be covering all aspects of watercolour landscape painting, including outdoor sketching sessions around the beautiful country village setting of Broadwoodkelly.

The course is designed to improve live sketching techniques and will include painting demonstrations and practice sessions in a relaxed workshop environment.

Peter is well-known in his native Derbyshire as a generous and experienced teacher, who understands the needs of absolute beginners just as well as those who are more experienced.

Places for the workshop are limited, and reservations are now being made. For more information, contact Sylvia on 01837 680176, or email [email protected]">[email protected]
