An eagerly awaited show in Okehampton by legendary US folk singer Peggy Seeger has been cancelled.

'Peggy Seeger in Conversation' was due to be held at the Church Hall on Market Street on Saturday, April 27, but the singer has hurt her back and so has had to cancel the show.

Marilyn Tucker, the creative director of the Okehampton charity Wren Music, was to have hosted the event.
