AN Okehampton craftsman who made a £45,000 model Bentley car for Rolling Stone Keith Richards, admitted careless driving before Exeter Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
Howard Karslake was involved in an incident with a school bus driver when he drove his Mercedes car along a street in Okehampton.
The prosecution said the 52-year- old model maker had been aggressive when he overtook the coach taking kids to school.
But Karslake, from Okehampton, said the coach drivers were 'bullyish' and he said the driver swore at him.
He told the court that his model making business was failing and said his last great sale was for £45,000 to Keith Richards for a model Bentley he made, but he said he had spent the money on a costly custody case for his two children and was now living on £147 a week family tax credits.
The magistrates fined him a total of £185 for careless driving and endorsed his licence.
