Devon and Exeter one
Morchard Bishop 2
Chagford 0
CHAGFORD fell to their first defeat in seven games but not without a fight, although they were missing a couple of key players.
Craig Vincent made a comfortable debut in place of regular 'keeper Saul Scarry and could not be faulted with the goals. George Pitts also made his debut, in midfield, showing composure and decent touches throughout.
A few moments of laxity in each half led to Harris and Schofield scoring the hosts' goals but Chagford had created chances for themselves, against the divisional leaders.
Sadly for the Moormen their frontmen seemed a little off the pace on the day. Chagford felt that Bishop were not the best team Chagford had faced thus far, with every possibility of reversing the result in the return fixture.
n Chagford firsts are away to Elmore, kick-off 3pm.

THIS score-line should have been in Chagford's favour within the first half, such were the chances spurned by the home side.
Their creative play promised much but the finishing was dreadful as, time after time, the ball went just wide or straight to the visitors' goalkeeper. It took 20 minutes for the breakthrough as Harvey broke down the right flank and passed to Ralph who slid the ball across goal for Will Cork to tap it into a gaping net.
Fifteen minutes later, Gavin Forsey was rewarded for some tremendous midfield work as he bundled his way through a handful of defenders to knock in the second.
Just before the break, a free back-post header allowed Jarman to pull a goal back for Priory and it was game on again.
The second half saw a virtual collapse from Chagford as Priory goals came back strongly. Mattison sneaked an equaliser, Riggs put the visitors ahead and Hook scored twice to crush the home side. As the game slipped away from them, Chagford's discipline faded with it.
