A TEENAGER from North Tawton has been cautioned for threatening a police officer with a knife.

The girl, aged 16, was charged with committing the offence in Haslingden in Lancashire on November 29 2020. She had been due to appear at Barnstaple Magistrates' Court.

The charge has been withdrawn after she was issued with a caution.
