BEAVERS, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Scouts from mid-Devon gathered at Okehampton College on Sunday for the annual St George’s Day parade, led by the Okehampton Excelsior Silver Band.

The parade to Simmons Park and across to the bandstand for a salute to local dignitaries and county representatives from the scouting organisation was followed by a service in the college hall.

Groups included Okehampton, North Tawton, Bow, Dolton and Winkleigh, Crediton and Sandford, all pictured here.
