Two fire crews from Okehampton attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the A30 this afternoon (July 10) following reports of a vehicle fire.

On arrival, crews confirmed that the incident, which occurred near Belstone, involved two vehicles on the dual carriageway but that no fire had occurred.

Crew members provided first aid to two casualties until the ambulance arrived. Police also attended the scene.
