REPRESENTATIVES of the Okehampton Lions Club have presented a cheque for £600 to the Children’s Hospice South West.

The Lions President’s wife Kay Cunliffe and fellow Lion members’ wives and partners presented the cheque to the charity at a recent social evening at the Okehampton Golf Club.

The money was raised by a coffee morning held at the president’s house as well as a prize hamper draw organised by Renee.

The hamper was won by Dawn Bourne of Okehampton.

The Lions Club expressed a big thank you to all who supported the event.
