THE Okehampton Young Farmers’ Club (YFC) recently had a blast at the Devon YFC Activities Day, coming second in a number of events.
The Okehampton YFC fence erecting team came second in a competition to see which club could build a fence the quickest.
The team, which comprised of Darcy Heard, Giles Heard and Callum Barber, missed out on first place by just five points.
The recycling pallets competition also saw Okehampton YFC come in second place, with the building of a bird house made from old wooden pallets.
The pallet recycling team consisted of Liam Osman and Luke Liversidge.
A spokesperson for Okehampton YFC said it was a great day and that members of the club did Okehampton proud.
