The famous Oak Road Christmas lights turned on for the first time this season this evening after months of planning from the Robb and Gliddon families.

Residents came to see the first switch on at 5pm in what will be a nightly light show from 5pm to 9pm until January 2, 2023.

This year, all money raised will be given to the Okehampton Community Garden and the Okehampton Fire Station.
