Police have closed one lane on the A30 eastbound carriageway between Okehampton services and Whiddon Down due to a broken-down vehicle causing congestion up to Meldon Junction.

Devon and Cornwall Police first alerted commuters at 10:13 am this morning (Friday, July 5) when they reported that a car had broken down partially blocking one lane and causing slow-moving traffic.

The incident is still active.
