MORE than 600 riders sped through several West Devon villages to test their cycling stamina on Sunday, by taking part in the FORCE cancer charity's Autumn Storm event.
They tackled a challenging 56-mile route, starting and finishing at Fingle Glen Golf Hotel in Tedburn St Mary, and passing through a number of villages, including Cheriton Bishop, Yeoford, Copplestone, Broadwoodkelly, Monkokehampton, Sampford Courtenay and Whiddon Down.
There were refreshment stops at Broadwoodkelly Village Hall and the Countryman Pub in Sampford Courtenay.
Sarah Daniels, head of FORCE fundraising, thanked everyone for their support.
The ride is expected to have raised up to £12,000 for the Exeter-based charity, which supports anyone locally affected by cancer.
