AN all day piano recital is being held in Tavistock in aid of Children in Need.

Composer and pianist Brian Chapple will give a stylistically varied piano recital in Tavistock Parish Church at 7.30pm on Saturday November 15.

The performance, which will hold a strong dance element, will also feature Brian's Frink Tribute which is dedicated to the sculptress, Dame Elisabeth Frink. It was inspired by Frink's Prisoners of Conscience Tribute Heads of 1975, after a visit to her Dorset sculpture garden in 1990.

A Pudsey bear will be auctioned at the event and all proceeds will go to the BBC Children in Need appeal.

Refreshments will be provided by Friends of St Eustachius and tickets are £6 on the door.
