THERE was a full church at St Boniface recently when the Bishop of Plymouth visited to conduct mass.
Bishop Christopher Budd of the Plymouth Diocese delivered a thought provoking homily and asked how many actually believed in the second coming of Christ.
The parish priest Father Darline Joseph read the Gospel message and assisted during the mass.
After the mass, Bishop Christopher, having spent the weekend in Okehampton meeting with various church committees and parishioners, shared coffee, and a beautifully iced cake, which had been made by a member of the Catholic Women's League.
Lunch also provided by the Catholic Women's League was served to all who attended.
