FIRE crews were last weekend called to reports of a vehicle that had overturned and ended up in a ditch at Meeth, with persons still within the vehicle.
Two crews from Hatherleigh and Torrington attended the incident on the A386 on Sunday, just before 10pm.
Upon arrival crews confirmed that one vehicle was on its roof within a field, and crews on scene then requested a further appliance from North Tawton and a rescue tender from Taunton.
Crews used hydraulic equipment and small tools, to release the occupants of the vehicle with only minor injuries.
