Sampford Courtenay Flower Club celebrated the coming of spring with an Easter wreathmaking work shop.

The event began with coffee and a brief demonstration of various Easter floral ideas from Celia and Nancy. Then the fun began and over 20 ladies (where are the creative men???) got stuck in and using lots of evergreens, spring foliage, daffodils and tulips made a beautiful ring to take home.

The rings which were decorated with traditional eggs, chicks and bright ribbons could be hung on a door or adorn a coffee table for Easter. No two were the same, showing the amazing creativity of every one.

If you would like to come along to Sampford Courtenay Flower Club our next club meeting is on Monday, April 11 at 2.30pm in Sampford Courtenay Village Hall.

The demonstrator will be Pat Penno from Launceston. A warm welcome to everyone.
