BRIDESTOWE Scouts are on the lookout for volunteers to help run scout meetings.

Following the resignation of Julie Lewis as group scout leader, the group no longer has sufficient resources to run all sections every week.

Rather than close one of the sections, the group has decided to run Beavers and Cubs on alternate weeks while mounting a recruitment campaign and exploring options for their long term future.

This means that Bridestowe Scouts is looking for volunteers to join them as leaders in both Beavers and Cubs.

Volunteers do not need prior experience as full support and training is provided through the Scout Association.

This is a great opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience working with young people in the community.
