THERE was no getting away from a good sporting event at Horrabridge School earlier this month for the District Sports School Dodgeball tournament.

The eventual winners were St Andrew’s School, Buckland Monachorum, for both the Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 age groups with Bere Alston Primary runners-up for Year 5/6 and St Edward’s School, Plymouth runners-up for Year 3/4.

Steve Fowler, head coach, from District Sports Plymouth, thanked everyone who was involved in the success of Saturday’s School Dodgeball tournament.

He said:?‘Well done to all the children who took part, as always it was fantastic to see some new schools and faces.’
