Western Power has offered to compensate customers who were without power for more than 48 hours following the devastation caused by Storm Eunice last month.

The electricity distributor has announced that it will evaluate the situation and automatically send a cheque for anywhere between £75 and £495 to customers relative to the length of time they were without power.

Customers do not need to apply and can expect a cheque anywhere between ten and 15 days following the storm. However, customers who do not receive a cheque and were without power for more than two days can apply online after March 21.
