MEMBERS at Okehampton’s BOP (Bude, Okehampton and Plymouth) Taekwondo club have been celebrating successes.

Junior student Amelia Picarella won a bronze medal for her pattern at the South West Championships.

And a host of Okehampton students attended a colour belt grading at Launceston. They all passed, several with above average passes. Amelia, who graded with her father Joe and brother Wilbur, was one of them, along with Shannon Thompson and Reece Richards.

Senior student Kate Burgess won an A grade pass and a prestigious Grading Award. Kate and Amelia are taking part in the English Championships in March.
