POLICE are urging agricultural premises to be alert after a spate of thefts.
Barns at a farm near Lewdown were raided and farm equipment was stolen.
Two Stihl chainsaws were stolen in the incident.
One is a model MS21 with a short blade, and may have the letters 'SW' scored into it.
The other is a model MS56 with a longer blade. Another chainsaw — a Husqvarna with a 20 inch blade — was also stolen, along with six Binatone 'Terrain 650' two way radios.
Police are appealing for anybody who has seen the items or has any other information to contact Sgt Dave Anning at Tavistock Police on 08452 777 444.
