TAW Valley Creamery at North Tawton has scooped top awards at the World Cheese Awards in Birmingham.

The creamery won two golds for its medium and vintage Cheddars, and silver for its mature Cheddar. The creamery was awarded a further three bronze awards for its mild and vintage Cheddars and in the 'reduced fat cheese' category. 

The results delighted Neil Kennedy, chief executive of Milk Link, which owns the creamery. He said:  'This is a fantastic acknowledgement of our cheese makers' expertise and commitment to going the extra mile to deliver products of exceptional taste and quality.'
