A Torridge drinking establishment has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Old George Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at The Old George Inn, Poplar Terrace, High Bickington, Umberleigh was given the maximum score after assessment on February 23, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Torridge's 90 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 78 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
