A Torridge restaurant has been handed a new five-out-of-five food hygiene rating.

Market Street Kitchen, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at 25 Market Street, Appledore, Bideford, Devon was given the maximum score after assessment on December 14, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.

It means that of Torridge's 116 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 101 (87%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
