PUPILS from Exbourne Primary, Bridestowe Primary, Boasley Cross Community Primary and Lydford Primary enjoyed an unusual start to the day on Monday.

The four schools, which make up the Dartmoor Federation Schools, all visited Okehampton College for a French breakfast and activities at the college's skills centre.

The visit was an opportunity for the primary school children to visit the college and learn about other languages and cultures. Students at the college are taught French, with those in the top sets also learning German.
