Devon County Cup
Oke Argyle U15s 8
Kingskerswell U15s 1
THE VISITORS were to suffer at Simmons Park to a rampant Argyle side in this second round tie.
Superb passing by Argyle ripped through the South Devon outfit and Oli Crimmins soon finished a fine move ending with Crimmins side footiing home from close range. Kingskerswell just could not cope with Argyle's pace and passing and were grateful to go in at halftime still in the game.
The second half was a different story though as Argyle got the goals with goals two and three came in the 47th and 49th minutes courtesy of Ross Voaden and an own goal.
Further goals were to come from Callum Goodwin (2), Ben Barkwill, Bas Loram and a second own goal completing the rout.
Exeter Youth division one
Oke Argyle U15s 1
Sidbury U15s 1
ARGYLE gave an impressive display but somehow failed to take all three points. They dominated the game but a lack of composure with the final ball or in front of goal was to deny them victory. Lady luck was also smiling on Sidbury as every ricochet and goalmouth incident went their way.
Sidbury took the lead seven minutes before the interval with a rare foray into the Argyle half after a defensive mix up leading to a Sidbury midfielder hit the ball in to the empty net from 35 yards out.
The second period continued with total dominance from a vibrant Argyle side and midway through the half they got their reward with a stunning strike from Oli Crimmins.
