WOODOVIS Park at Gulworthy has triumphed at the Devon Tourism Awards 2015, taking home not one but two awards.
The independently -owned holiday park beat off fierce competition to win gold in the camping and caravanning park category as well as taking bronze in the sustainable business category.
Owners John and Dorothy Lewis were recently presented with the awards at a ceremony at Plymouth’s Holiday Inn, hosted by Judi Spiers.
Accepting the award, John Lewis said: ‘This is such a fantastic way to round off a great season and there really could be no better way to thank everyone for their hard work. To be named the top camping and caravanning park is an incredible accolade in the face of stiff competition and speaks volumes for the dedication that every member of our team invests in their work. For our environmental credentials to also be acknowledged gives us a real incentive to continue putting sustainability at the forefront of everything we do on the park.’
Now in their sixth year, the Devon Tourism Awards, sponsored by Hoseasons, champion businesses putting Devon at the forefront of holiday destinations.
