DUE to the cold and wet conditions North Tawton Bowling Club’s opening day was cancelled but a few hardy types turned up to watch club president Paul Andrews bowl the first bowl.

The club’s season has officially started and it invites old members, new members and young members to join it for a great game of bowls.

The club has a busy fixture list ahead with mixed friendlies, mens games, ladies games, and various league games.

Its new coaches John Kinsey and Anita Lamey will be on hand for those who would like to ‘have a go’ for the first time or brush up on your existing game.
