OKEHAMPTON Simmons Bowls Club held its annual presentation day when trophies and prizes were presented to the winners of the domestic com-petitions.

It was a splendid day with a sit down meal for members and guests provided by the ladies of the club.

A cheque for £300 was presented to Liz Westlake, the representative of the club’s nominated charity which this year is Okehampton District Community Transport Group.
