Three times British Darts Organisation World Darts champion and three times World Masters champion, Martin 'Wolfie' Adams, will be giving an exhibition of his skills before playing up to 14 people drawn from the ticket entries.
First up to play Wolfie will be founder of the league Brian Holwill.
The league was founded by Brian along with John Giles, village postman George Alan and Sandy Hampton as secretary.
The Chagford teams had originally been playing in the Moreton-hampstead league but as numbers grew in Chagford it was decided to start a separate league.
The Thursday night darts season starts in September and runs through to finals night in April when the winning trophies are presented. The major trophies have all been donated over the years in memory of darts family members and by the participating pubs.
Originally set in Chagford there are now ten teams in the league.
