SHEBBEAR College fourth form student Eloise Maxa has been selected for the Devon U15s county cricket team.

Eloise represented Buckinghamshire earlier this year before moving to the south west in August. The county trials were held at Cornwood and the indoor arena at Exeter University.

She has joined Hatherleigh Cricket Club and was somewhat surprised to make her debut there in an otherwise all male game against the Afghanistan U19 boys team. Undaunted, she took two wickets. Eloise also plays for the Hatherleigh U15 boys' team as well as their ladies team.
