MILTON Abbot has been the latest village to benefit from the Active Villages project.

Mark Wickett, football coach, led youngsters in football and multi-skills every Wednesday morning (pictured right). The sessions were enjoyed by all and were very well attended – even in the rain. It is now hoped to extend the sessions into half term week. The Indoor Climbing barn at Milton Abbot was also the venue for taster sessions, as part of the summer holiday activities and a good time was had by those attending them.

The Active Villages Project is available in Milton Abbot, Meavy, Walkhampton, Gulworthy, Mary Tavy and Whitchurch.
